intentional brand systems for thoughtful clients.
My name is Badru Alexander Olawale.
I'm a brand designer and art director from Lagos, Nigeria. I work across identity, illustration, and Framer design/dev. I got into design because I was curious, and I stayed because I love it. The name Tudun comes from Inumitudun, which means "I have found happiness once again" in Yoruba. I took it during a period when I figured out who I was instead of who I thought I should be.
I've worked in-house, consulted for startups, freelanced with founders. I've redesigned websites, built AI workflows for product photography, created systems that let teams work independently. I'm drawn to projects that feel new and unexplored. I like to figure out what the brand needs to say, then build a system that says it consistently across every touchpoint.
I care about authenticity in design. Understanding what something actually means before deciding how it should look. That matters whether I'm working on cultural projects that need genuine representation or building brands that need to connect with people. I build frameworks and documentation because I think about what happens after the handoff. I believe brands should scale without breaking, and this thought process is what drives my decisions.
Outside of work, I'm an introvert who loves fresh air and quiet. I'm either going mountaineering, watching Manchester United break my heart for the umpteenth time, playing football games, or deep in something that feeds my curiosity; design articles, physics videos about black holes and evolution, anything that helps me understand how things work.
